Logo Contest
We need a logo! The mission of the PUSD Special Education Foundation is to enhance the educational experiences and success of students served by the Poway Unified School District Special Education Department by providing support beyond what tax dollars can do. This is your chance to design a logo for the Foundation that represents our mission and dedication to student success.
Contest Rules
- Logo may be hand-drawn or digitally designed. Hand-drawn entries may be digitally enhanced.
- Designs may be black and white or color. Color entries are encouraged, however colors should be limited to no more than three to four and considerations for black & white copy reproduction will be part of the judging criteria.
- Logo must be no larger than 5” x 5” and no smaller than 2”x 2”.
- Entrants must be a student in the Poway Unified School District, and must be served by the Special Education Department, or have an immediate family member (sibling) served by the Special Education Department.
- Artwork should be “inked”; all borders should be outlined with thin black markers to establish sharp, clean lines.
- Main selection criteria will be representation of theme and reproducibility in a variety of media. (Color for websites, black and white and grey scale for print)
- All entries become the sole property of the PUSD Special Education Foundation to be used at the sole discretion of the Foundation.
- Finalists will be chosen by the PUSD Special Education Foundation board members. The winners will be selected by PUSD parents and students at a time and location TBD. Check the website for updates. All decisions are final.
- Deadline for submissions is Thursday, November 19th. Submissions may be dropped off at district offices, (LSS building), mailed to the Foundation at the address below, or left with the student’s teacher.
